It Begins

Our story begins with a young woman, Maranda Dubose moving to Forgotten Hollows. She has always been fascinated with the unknown, supernatural things and now hopes to find proof of such things excisting. Little did she know, how soon she'd be faced with her biggest dreams and nightmares.

This challenge is played in the Sims 4. Instead of reaching top of Criminal career, the EOE must be a Grand Master Vampire.

Quite soon after moving, Maranda got to know a local called Caleb Vatore. His demeanor was very "suspicious" to say the least. Maranda got to know him, and in time they became good friends. Eventually Caleb revealed his true nature, a vampire. This Maranda had suspected from the start, yet was always afraid to ask. Parts of her were excited, yet other parts scared. After getting to know the culture and abilities of vampires, Maranda wanted to become one of them. Caleb was the one to turn her. He also taught Maranda most of the essentials she needed to know to survive.

Maranda dove into the life of a vampire with excitement. She could not believe all the stories were true and that now, she'd be part of it. Maranda went through a rollercoaster of emotions in her first decades. She mostly fed on people under her influence. For a period of time she wanted to rely on plasma packs alone. Eventually she came into terms with her nature and gained a few willing donor friends.

Close to her 90th birthday, Maranda got to know a Grand Master Vampire in the community, Vladislaus. She didn't think much of it at first and wasn't looking for a relationship at that time. However as years went by, they grew closer. Eventually it was Maranda who made the first move. Vladislaus was hard to warm up, they had only know each other for less than a decade. At times Maranda was close to giving up, as Vladislaus felt further away. Still they always ended up together in the same places. They both were fond of each other and eventually they became a couple.

Maranda moved together with Vladi to his estate and soon enough they made their relationship official and got married. Love was blooming in the household, and though they never agreed to be exclusive, neither of them felt the need to look elsewhere. Maybe after a century or two there might be a need to spice things up.

Vladi never was specific on his age, but the common consensus was ~500 years. Sometimes he would talk about his legacy and the heir he wishes to produce before it is his time. He wouldn't want his status to fall to another vampire family. At times Maranda would worry, especially if Vladi hybernated for long periods of time. He would get lost into playing his pipe organ and feel distant. All this would hopefully change now..

...Maranda is carrying his child.
